Terms of the Money-Back Guarantee for Savvy Subject Prep
We are confident in the effectiveness of our ACT Prep, and we are willing to guarantee it! It is our goal that no student ever needs to request a refund, because our preparation will enable them to gain at least two points on the subject test for which they prepare. To ensure that the student does the work necessary to earn that two point gain, the following terms are applied.
General Terms
The student must provide an official ACT score (“starting score”) before enrolling in Savvy Subject Prep. An official ACT score is one received after taking an official ACT exam administered by the ACT.
The student must have a starting score of 30 or lower on the subject test you seek.. If the student’s starting score is 31 or higher, contact Savvy Strategies before enrolling in Savvy Subject Prep.
The student must take another official ACT exam administered by the ACT within sixty (60) days after the last official session of Savvy Subject Prep. Savvy Strategies will only accept the first official ACT exam taken after the last official session.
Attendance
The student must meet with the instructor for 5 full hours in total. Sessions are typically scheduled for one hour each. If the student misses more than 20 minutes of instruction (by arriving late or leaving early), the guarantee is voided. Sessions are scheduled at least 5 days in advance. Cancelling or rescheduling a session less than 24 hours in advance may void the guarantee.
Homework
The student must turn in 90% (18 of 20) homework assignments, in full and on time. Homework assignments submitted late will be considered incomplete. Because homework represents such a vital component of successful test prep, Savvy Strategies cannot grant exceptions or extensions to homework assignment requirements. Homework assignments must also represent a good faith effort on the part of the student. Savvy Strategies will review homework submissions to verify that each assignment represents a good faith effort on the part of the student, and notify parents within 24 hours if the homework is not sufficient. The student will not receive credit for homework assignments that do not represent a good faith effort.
The student must complete 100%, a minimum of five (5) assigned practice tests, in full and on time. Each practice test must be submitted by the student at or before the submission deadline. Practice tests submitted late will be considered incomplete. Because practice tests represent such a vital component of successful test prep, Savvy Strategies cannot grant exceptions or extensions to practice test requirements. Practice tests must also represent a good faith effort on the part of the student. Savvy Strategies will actively review practice test submissions to verify that each practice test represents a good faith effort on the part of the student and notify parents within 24 hours if the homework is not sufficient. The student will not receive credit for practice tests that do not represent a good faith effort.
Practice Tests
If You (the Payee) would like to request a refund from Savvy Strategies, having met the qualifications of this guarantee, you must provide an official score report from a qualified exam taken before the start and an official score report from a qualified exam taken within sixty (60) days after the final lesson. The score reports must be downloaded from the College Board or ACT website and show Your Student’s full name, score, and date of the exam. Please attach the official score reports to an email with the subject line “Refund Request” and send it to kristie@savvy-strategies.com. If all terms of the guarantee have been met, please allow up to 30 days for processing of your refund. If you have any questions, please call us at 573-315-4222.
